Marijn van der Meer is a Dutch singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the indie-pop band HAEVN. He began his musical journey in childhood, learning piano and later teaching himself guitar. Marijn first gained public attention in 2011 as a contestant on the Dutch talent show Op zoek naar Zorro. In 2015, he teamed up with composer Jorrit Kleijnen to form HAEVN, blending cinematic soundscapes with emotional lyrics. Their debut album Eyes Closed (2018) received critical acclaim, followed by orchestral and studio projects that expanded their sound. Marijn is known for his introspective songwriting and soft, emotive vocal style.
